The Ministries at Highlands Community Church...
Help us to model Christ and the Gospel through personal example by encouraging the development of eternally significant relationships. All of our ministries are family based, involving all people (singles, couples, youth and children) as family in worship, study, prayer and service.  At this time we are developing simple times of Bible study and devotion in homes in our community.

We Want to Develop Relationships Not Programs

We believe that we were created for relationship, with God and with each other!  Unfortunately, we live in a world where hurting and broken relationships are often the norm.  God's answer to our problem of relationship is found in Christ.  It is in Christ that we discover grace, hope, truth, faith, love and the power to Develop  Eternally Significant Relationships.  C.S. Lewis wrote that "You can't get second things by putting them first; you can only get second things by putting first things first."  Human beings were made for a relationship with their Creator... that's the "first thing!"   So we have ministries that let people understand that God wants a relationship with them.  People are important to God and so people are important to us!  .

We want our relationship with God to benefit those around us.  We are involved in our community, making connections with people and developing loving relationships.   We have partnered with the schools in the area, meeting the needs of children, parents and teachers.   We are involved in ministry on various middle school and high school campuses that help connect children, young people and parents with each other and with God. 

So come and Develop an Eternally Significant Relationship!
